Rites of the Munay-Ki
Rainbow Body Practice
Rites of Initiation - Munay Ki - were born on the mountain of Auzangate, Peru. They are an invitation to dream a whole new world into being, healed and limitless.
The Incan Q’ero Shaman Wisdom Keepers have ancient prophesies that told that during this great turning over (it was said it might be a time of the harvesting of souls), a new species of human would appear on the planet. This new being, Homo luminous, person of light, would evolve within one generation instead of many hundreds. This new being would live without fear and could step out of linear time and into infinity. This would happen through the activation and re-encoding of our DNA and giving our cells instructions on how to grow, what to do, and how to die. The rites of the Munay-Ki play an important role in that change; they are the nine gates that heal us and transform our human energy field into that of homo luminous.
The rites are gifted to each person as energetic transmissions, and they arrive in seed form, to be nourished and fed so that they grow more powerful within you.
The 4 foundation rites of the shaman - will connect you with a lineage of Shamans-Healers-Seers who have defeated death and broken free of linear time. They dwell in infinity, and are known as Archangels or Enlightened Beings. By connecting with this lineage, it helps to awaken that within yourself. By getting all the rites, you acquire the rainbow body of immortality.
These archetypes are offered to you as seeds, as they begin to burst forth with life, they will combust the heavy energies that have settled in your chakras. They will continue to do your healing process, helping you to manifest your gifts, skills, and your medicine. In organic and natural ways.
The Archetypes are divine forces that help us evolve. They consume and metabolize the energies inside that chakra, and they heal it. As the archetypes awaken, they feed the chakra, so you end up with the rainbow body. Where the chakra is clear of the negative sludge (dark heavy energies that accumulate and block chakras), then you end up with 7 chakras of the rainbow body.
In the Native mythology of this Shamanic lineage, when you cross to go to the upper world (the world of Spirit), you go across the rainbow bridge. You must be light, and have no baggage to do this. If you have a lot of baggage, you fall right through, into the hell realms. So you travel as a rainbow being.
Do a bit of research on the Rainbow Body in Tibet, and Padmasambhava, who was one of the mystics who developed his own Rainbow Body. Below is a picture that shows how Rainbow Body has been portrayed in Eastern art.
Once you receive these Rites, they are for eternity. A sacred union, a joining of your world with these luminous beings of love. Once you receive them, you are often called to pass them on and share with as many others as possible.

Rite One: Healer’s Rite
Connects you to a lineage of luminous healers from the past to assist you in your personal transformation, awakening the healing power so that everyone you touch is blessed. We access tremendous spiritual assistance; ancient healers who help heal the wounds of the past and of our ancestors.
Rite Two: Bands of Power
Five energy belts are woven into your luminous energy field (LEF) for protection. They act as filters, breaking down any negative energies that come toward you into one of the five elements, earth, air, fire, water and light, feeding your LEF instead of allowing those energies to make you sick.
1st band - 1st and 2nd chakras - Black, Earth element
2nd band - 3rd chakra - Red, Water Element (blood and mother water)
3rd band - 4th chakra - Gold, heart, sun, Fire element (Father Sun, Inti Titi)
4th band - 5th chakra - Silver, throat, Air/Wind element, moon (Mama Chia)
5th band - 6th and 7th chakras - White, direct light of Spirit
Rite Three: Harmony Rite
A transmission of the 7 Archetypes into the Chakras. First you receive the archetypes of serpent, jaguar, hummingbird and eagle; next you receive three archangels: the Keeper of the Lower World (our unconscious), the Keeper of the Middle World (our waking world), and the Protector of the Upper World (our super-conscious).
The 4 organizing principles in the 4 lower chakras and then 3 Archangels/Luminous beings in the upper 3 chakras
1 - Archetype of Serpent - connects to earth, feminine, collective mother; seat of the kundalini.
2 - Jaguar - connects to all living beings on the planet, steward of all life on the earth
3 - Hummingbird - teaches us to drink deeply from the nectar of life, teaches to go on the epic journey, without having enough wings to fly, enough time, enough money
4 - Eagle - spread your own wings, brings us vision and clarity, allows us to fly high above our lives, and see it in perspective and clarity
5 - Huascar Inca, keeper of the lower world who brings harmony and peace to dream time and the unconscious
6 - Quetazquotl, keeper of the middle world, physical world, brings harmony and order in our every day lives
7 - Pachacuti, keeper of the upper world, archetype of time to come, who you are becoming 10,000 yrs from today and beyond
Rite Four: Seer’s Rite
Pathways of light connect the visual cortex with the third eye and heart chakra. This awakens the inner seer and your ability to perceive the invisible world of energy and Spirit.
Rite Five: Daykeeper’s Rite
You connect to a lineage of master healers from ancient times. Daykeepers can call on ancient altars to heal and bring balance to the earth, and on the sun to rise each day, bringing us into harmony with mother Earth. This rite helps you begin to heal your inner feminine, step beyond fear, and practice peace.
Rite Six: Wisdomkeeper’s Rite
You connect to a lineage of luminous beings from the past and the future. This rite helps you to begin to heal your inner masculine, step outside of time, and taste infinity.
Rite Seven: Earthkeeper’s Rite
This rite connects you to the archangels that are guardians of our solar system, stewards of all life on Earth. It lifts you from your earth-bound existence and sets your spirit free to begin your journey to the stars - beginning with the sun, our local star- so you may dream your world into being.
Rite Eight: Starkeeper’s Rite
This rite helps your physical body to evolve into Homo Luminous; the aging process is slowed down, your DNA is re-informed, and you become more resistant to disease. You accept the seat around a holy fire at the center of the Sun, a place that has been held for you since the beginning of time.
Rite Nine: Creator Rite
As it awakens the Creator-light within, this rite brings stewardship for all creation -from the smallest grain of sand to the largest cluster of galaxies. Once you discover that Spirit not only works through you but AS YOU, and all of creation is happening inside you, the stewardship then becomes natural. As you work with the germination of these rites you’ll be touched and blessed by angels. You simply need to open yourself to the wisdom of the Earthkeepers, and all will be bestowed upon you.
Rite Ten: 13th Rite - Wombkeepr’s Rite
There is a lineage of women who freed themselves from suffering. This lineage of women wants us to remember: The womb is not a place to store fear and pain; the womb is to create and give birth to life. This lineage of women through the jungle medicine has given us the 13th rite of the Munay-Ki: The Rite of the Womb. (in alignment with the 13 moons). It is given to women only. Once you receive it, share it with as many women as possible.
